Stockroom Clerks

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Stockroom Clerks are responsible for receiving, stocking, and issuing parts as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory, and ensuring efficiency and timeliness of all job functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Ability to record inventory data using a handheld electronic device, and familiarity with computers to perform stockroom functions.
  • Physically able to complete required tasks such as walking, lifting, bending and working in a fast pace environment.
  • Pack and unpack parts to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, or storage areas.
  • Assemble orders from stock and place orders on pallets or in bins and relocate orders to a designated department.
  • Follow instructions carefully for retrieving specific parts from the stockroom.
  • Mark stock parts using identification tags, stamps, or other labeling equipment.
  • Basic mathematic skills include but are not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division.
  • Full compliance with the Company’s alcohol and drug policy.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.

PAY RANGE:

  • $19 – $25.00/per hour
