Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics are responsible for the detailed assembly of helicopters and its sub-assemblies in accordance with manufacturing procedures and other data acceptable or approved by the FAA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Assembly of detailed components, installation of sub-assemblies, and final assembly of helicopters using basic hand tools and custom assembly fixtures.
  • Familiarity with air conditioning testing and charging equipment.
  • Knowledge of aircraft avionics systems and related testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and company literature related to aircraft assembly.
  • Basic mathematics skills including but not limited to: adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for calculating material fabrication.
  • Full compliance with the Company’s DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.

PAY RANGE:

  • $22.00 – $35.00/per hour
